Dhading Nuwakot Samaj UK organised the annual Bhet Ghat at Mytchett, Camberely. This was the 10 anniversary of DNS Samaj and the summer bhetghat was a grand success with establishment of new working committe.

Landslide-Dhading

Landslide threat looms large over Dhading village

More than two dozen families have been displaced after a fresh landslide hit Hindung of Ruby Valley Rural Municipality-4 in Dhading.

The landslide, triggered by heavy monsoon rains, swept away a house belonging to Riga Lama, leaving 66 other houses in the settlement at a high ri

As many as 30 families left their settlement on Monday evening and are taking shelter at a pasture overlooking the village, according to police.

“A police team was sent to the affected area from Sertung on Tuesday morning. The team is expected to reach the village by the evening,” said Deputy Superintendent of Police Dipendra Panjiyar. A preliminary investigation suggests that the villagers fled the settlement due to landslide fears, Panjiyar said. There was no human casualty.
