As you know that the recent flash floods in Nepal have caused devastating loss and hardship for
many families espcially in Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading.

Dhading Nuwakot Samaj UK organised the annual Bhet Ghat at Feltham Community College. The numbers were huge and guale bhetghat was special with barbeque and great party afterwards.
Dhading Nuwakot Samaj UK organised the annual Bhet Ghat at Feltham, London. A huge presence of Gaules made the day and some faboulus performances from our own artists were the highlight of the day.

धादिङ भाद्र ८ । धादिङ-नुवाकोट, यूके समाजले धादिङ जिल्ला अस्पताल र नुवाकोट जिल्ला अस्पताललाई पाठाएको पोर्टेवल अक्सिजन मेसिन सेट आज हस्तान्तरण गरिएको हो ।
स्वास्थ्य मन्त्रालयले उक्त सामाग्री धादिङ र नुवाकोटका जनप्रतिनीधिको उपस्थितिमा अस्पतालका प्रतिनीधिहरुलाई हस्तान्तरण गरेको टिकाराम नेपालीले धादिङपोष्टलाई बताउनु भएको थियो ।
यूकेमा रहेका साथीहरुले चन्दा उठाएर महत्वपूर्ण सामान पठाई दिनुभएकोमा खुसी व्यक्त गर्दै, धादिङका प्रदेश सांसद डा. रामकुमार अधिकारीले समाजलाई विशेष धन्यावाद दिनु भएको छ भने अस्पतालहरुलाई उक्त उपकरण विरामी मैत्री र परिणममुखि बनाउन आग्रह समेत गर्नु भएको नेपालीले जानकारी दिनुभयो ।
धादिङ र नुवाकोटलाई अत्यन्त आवश्यक रहेको जानकारी आएपछि हामीले पोर्टेवल अक्सिजन सेट मेसिन सहयोग गरेको होऔं, मन्त्रालयले हस्तान्तरण गरेको खबरले हर्षित भएको धादिङ-नुवाकोट, यूके समाजका अध्यक्ष सि. बि. लामाले बताउनु भयो ।
पहिरो र बाढीले पुरयाएको जनधनको क्षति सुने लगत्तै विगत ११ वर्ष देखि विभिन्न सामाजिक क्रियाकलापमा सक्रिय संस्था धादिङ नुवाकोट समाज यूकेले आपत्कालिन बैठक बसी तत्काल सहयोगका लागि आव्हान गरेको थियो ।
आव्हानको केही दिनमा नै करिब ३ लाख रुपैंया संकलन गरी नेपाल जांदै गरेका कार्यसमिति सदस्य सूर्य थोक्राले पीडित परिवारसंग भेटी एक कार्यक्रमका बीच सहयोग रकम हस्तान्तरण गरिने समाजका अध्यक्ष सीबी तामाङले बताए । ‘प्रवासमा बसेर जसरी हामी नेपालमा यस्तो दुःखमा तत्काल जे जति सकिन्छ, सहयोगका लागि आतुर हुन्छौं’- तामाङले भने ।
राज्य र जनप्रतिनिधिहरुको जवाफदेहीता यो भन्दा ज्यादा हुनुपर्ने बताउंछन् समाजका पूर्व महासचिव हरिसी वाइबा । उनको माग छ- ‘रकम सानो होला, छोटो समय र सदस्यहरुको पनि विविध परिस्थितिमा हामीले सानै रकम पठाएका छौं तर यो राज्य र जनप्रतिनिधिलाई जवाफदेही बनाउन र तत्कालै थोरै भए पनि राहत पुगोस् भन्नाका लागि सरकार र गाउंपालिकाले पीडित परिवारको यथोचित ब्यवस्थापनको जिम्मेवारी लिनुपर्छ ।’ असार १३ र १४ गतेको अविरल वर्षाका कारण धादिङ जिल्लाको उत्तरी भेगमा पर्ने सत्यदेबी र मार्पाकमा पहिरो गइ ७ घर पुरिएको छ भने ५ जनाको ज्यान गएको बताइएको छ । २ जना बेपत्ता छन् ।
खनियावास गाउंपालिका ५ साईस्वांरामा गोले जेठा भनिने राजु गोलेको घर पहिरोले बगाउंदा गोलेकी ३६ वर्षीया श्रीमती बसोधा गुरुङ, १० वर्षीया छोरी लक्ष्मी गुरुङ र ५ वर्षीया सरस्वती गुरुङको पहिरोमा पुरिइ मृत्यु भएको थियो । त्यस्तै सोही गाउंपालिका चिउरीखर्कमा गएको पहिरोमा शम्सेर घले र कोप्ची घले बेपत्ता भए भने नेत्रावती डपजोङ गाउंपालिका मार्पाकमा पांच घर बगाएको खवर छ ।
